CROSS BREEDING
This is the mating of individuals who are members of different
breeds. Both, outbreeeding and crossbreeding result in heterozygous
offspring. Traits including reproductive performance, calf
livability, vigor and growth rate are most affected by the
hybrid vigor (heterosis).
